Summer Travel Inspo

Slide1I can’t believe that it’s about to be June and summer is really here! Since it’s our first summer as a married couple, Jeremy and I really want to take some time off to do some travelingWe haven’t finalized our itinerary just yet, but obviously I’d like to travel somewhere fashionable. So while Jeremy works on the logistics of our trip, I’ve been dreaming about some of the most fashionable cities in the world and what I’d wear in each one.

When it comes to dreaming up fantasy wardrobes, it’s really fun to drool over luxury designer pieces–and there’s no better website to do that than on Farfetch.com :) Below are some of the travel looks I’ve created using pieces from the site, and click here to view Farfetch’s own packing guide.

Happy travels!

South of France – One of the places Jeremy and I are considering traveling to is the South of France. With famous tourist cities like St. Tropez and Nice, I kind of imagine the South of France to be like a fancier, wealthier, European version the Hamptons! So, to stroll around along the ports full of yachts, I put together an outfit that is beachy but still classy–complete with a really unique Yosuzi hat that screams “European beach-goer” to me.

East Coast, USA – We actually already have a couple of trips to New York planned in the the coming months. Having perviously lived in Manhattan, many of our friends live there, and I’m so excited to go visit. When I’m in New York, I hardly ever wear heels, and I really like to be comfortable (hello humidity, crowds, and public transportation…) so these Marc Jacobs sneakers would be a packing essential! Here, I’ve paired them with some loud statement jeans and a ballsy bodysuit, because NYC fashion is all about expressing yourself and standing out. I could totally see myself wearing this outfit while running around the cobblestone streets of Soho, specifically.

1. Sensi Studio Hat. 2. Dolce&Gabbana Tote. 3. Kenzo Top. 4. Dsquared2 Jeans. 5. Ancient Greek Sandals.

Milan, Italy - I basically built this outfit around the Dolce&Gabbana purse, because if I’m dressing for Italy, D&G needs to have a prominent presence in my look. So much of the fashion we wear here, in the States, is trickled down from Milan street style, so this outfit is really important to me. I chose comfy slides for my footwear, because I really wanted this casual outfit to be appropriate for a day of walking but also be on-trend. Just put some Gelato in my hand, and I’m ready to go!

Paris, France - Ah, Paris…Can I really call myself a fashion blogger if I’ve never posted a selfie with the Eiffel Tower in the background? I’ve never been, but “La Ville-Lumiere” is definitely a city toward to top of my bucket list.  Out of respect for what I consider to be the classiest city in the world, I decided to ditch my usual jeans and sneakers for this look. Parisian dressing is all about relaxed silhouettes–or so I’ve been told–so I felt like this flowy, floral dress was the perfect choice for a day of baguettes and macarons.
