Yesterday, I dropped by the Dune London store in Soho, New York and literally walked into a dream. I’ll be honest, I was there by invitation of Dune’s marketing team, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how “me” the entire store was!
The Four Eleven team ended off the winter season with a bang, by attending the EDIT show, a part of New York market week. We were given this unique opportunity by invitation of H Williams shoes, and after previewing the brand’s upcoming SS15 and FW lines, it’s safe to say this shoe-junkie has a LOT to look forward to!
Last night I threw on a Michael Kors dress and headed into the famous Beverly Hills for a special treat: Emily Schuman was throwing a launch party for her brand new Club Monaco line.
The event was held in the Club Monaco store, itself, on Beverly Drive. There were red velvet ropes, doormen, balloons, and–of course–cupcakes!
I was greeted by a sales associate who gave me a tour and showed me the new Cupcakes and Cashmere collection–designed by Emily, herself. The line includes some classy, staple pieces like a leather skirt and a practical trench-coat. However, the star of the collection is undoubtably a jeweled, backless dress, which Emily personally modeled at the event.
I got the chance to chat with Emily a little bit about the line. I told her that I work with so many bloggers, but I don’t always follow them–but hers is one of my favorites! (By the way, she’s just as beautiful in person as she is on Cupcakes and Cashmere.)
It was a really special night, and I was so excited to have met one of my idols (or, “The Cupcake Lady,” as my boyfriend calls her…)

This month we launched another amazing, jam-packed issue of Annex Magazine. Our May/June cover star, Drake Bell, hosted a private viewing of the issue atop the Skybar in West Hollywood, on the night before the issue was released to the public.
I had never been to the Skybar before, but it definitely will not be my last trip–the venue certainly set the cool, high-end vibe of the whole party. I was running Annex’s social media for the event, so it gave me a great excuse to take pictures of, and speak to, all the high profile people at the event.
I had such an amazing time partying it up with the whole Annex team, and was so excited to see the finished issue that we all have worked so hard on.
You can view the entire May/June issue for free at www.AnnexMagazine.com –you can also find the official pictures from the night on the site, but in the meantime here are some of my personal snapshots:
Hey guys, just wanted to share some pics from Annex Magazine’s launch party for their April issue.
The party was held at OHM Nightclub in the world-famous Hollywood and Highland complex.
This was my first launch party as a writer for Annex, so I was kind of nervous. Everyone was dressed so cool, and I kept thinking to myself, “Everyone in here is somebody.” All around, it was a really cool experience.
I had an insane time partying with Don Benjamin, who covered the men’s issue, and Karrueche Tran, who covered the women’s issue. The after-party even featured a live performance by the Cataracs!
Here are some of my pics:
Designer and television star Nick Verreos sure knows how to throw an Oscar party.
With the Academy Awards approaching this weekend, Verreos invited the press to an exclusive Oscar-themed media event, where he premiered his latest NIKOLAKI gown designs.
I was invited to this event two separate times: once for Four Eleven and once for my position at Annex Magazine (you can see my Annex write-up of this event here.) I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to learn that Four Eleven is on somebody’s media list somewhere…
I was equally excited to find my lovely blogger bestie, Mariya Dandonyan of The Gracious Lady blog, at the event. I also met several other bloggers, writers, and stylists throughout the night–all while sipping a glass of champagne. I was definitely in my element and having fun playing the part.
Verreos’ models walked down a luxe red carpet as photographers flashed and captured their every move. I really felt like I was covering an actual awards show. Maybe one day I will be
